Dentures
Your Smile, Restored
Dentures can make a big difference in your ability to eat comfortably and feel confident in social settings—especially after significant tooth loss. To keep them working their best, proper care is key.
Establish a daily routine of brushing your dentures using a soft denture brush and non-abrasive denture toothpaste to help prevent staining and plaque buildup. After brushing, rinse them thoroughly and soak them in a recommended denture-cleaning solution.
Be sure to remove your dentures at night. This gives your gums time to rest and breathe, helping to maintain healthy tissue. When not in use, store your dentures in water to prevent them from drying out and becoming warped or brittle.
Never try to adjust your dentures yourself—doing so can cause damage or even injury. It’s also best to avoid over-the-counter adhesives, which may contain ingredients that can harm the denture material.
Regular checkups with your dentist are important to monitor the fit of your dentures and ensure the continued health of the gums and tissues that support them.
Complete and Partial Dentures

Dentures
Dentures are artificial replacements for natural teeth and gums, available as partial or complete sets. Partial dentures replace one or more teeth, held by clasps on adjacent natural teeth, and are easily removable for cleaning. Complete dentures replace all missing teeth and are held in place by the surrounding tisues and bone.
